Hey there, we're Toolakea.
A digital creative outsourcing agency.
Founded by Carly and based in Naarm/Melbourne, Toolakea is a creative studio offering design support with clarity and consistency.
We’ve been in the thick of rebrands, launches, last-minute pivots, and those “can someone just fix this?” moments.
We’re not precious — but we are particular. And we care about how things look, how they work, and how they hold up over time. We work with founders, brand leaders, design and marketing teams who want a reliable, considered creative partner — not just a one-off designer.

From day one, community has been our calling.
We love connecting our clients and creating a network that brings about surprising and fulfilling partnerships (or partners in crime). We host regular, complimentary masterclasses on helpful topics to support your business's growth, along with free resources to ensure you feel supported and guided — no matter what stage of business you're at.
Toolakea means a sunny place in the Warakami language and is a name sacred to the traditional custodians of the land, the Bindal and Wulgurukaba people.
More than a dot on the map, Toolakea, is Carly's hometown. It represents a vision of sunlight, warmth, joy and nostalgia — qualities we infuse in every project we undertake. We operate on land that is not our own, that’s why every week we pay the rent.
