We’re a fast-growing boutique agency looking for a Senior Designer to join us 3–4 days a week. Someone confident in their craft, creatively sharp and keen to grow with us long term.

Toolakea is looking for a Senior Designer to join the studio on a casual basis.

You’ll work across branding, campaigns, social, digital and websites for a mix of fashion, hospitality, lifestyle and purpose-led brands.

We’re looking for someone with strong taste, strong ideas and the confidence to take a brief and run with it.

You should be comfortable developing visual directions, making smart design decisions, working within existing brands and taking work through to a polished finish without needing every step mapped out for you.

This role suits someone who is genuinely senior, creatively sharp, proactive, reliable and easy to work with.

The details:

3-4 days a week
Based in Australia (no international, sorry)
Casual employment, not freelance
Starting ASAP
$60/hr + super

You’ll need:

7+ years’ professional graphic design experience
Strong agency or studio experience is essential
Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment
Strong digital communication skills
A strong portfolio across brand, digital and campaign work
Confidence taking a brief from concept through to polished delivery
Strong typography, layout and visual judgement
Experience working across Squarespace + Shopify
Strong creative thinking and the ability to develop visual directions independently
