We’re building Toolakea to be a place where people can do really good creative work, be treated like fairly and feel supported.
That means being thoughtful about how we pay people, how we work together, who gets opportunities and what people need in order to do their best work.
Fair pay + growth
Fair pay is something we actively review as part of running the studio.
We look at team rates alongside experience, responsibility, market expectations and the growth of Toolakea, and we want pay to keep moving as the business grows.
The people helping build the studio should benefit from that growth too.
Accessibility + adjustments
Everyone works differently.
We’re open to reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and once you’re part of the team, whether that relates to disability, neurodivergence, communication, accessibility or another individual need.

Parents + carers
We know work is only one part of life.
Parents, single parents, carers and people with responsibilities outside work should not have to choose between doing great work and having a life that needs flexibility.
Where a role allows it, we aim to work in a way that is realistic, flexible and human.
